Click a key, then press the new one (or click the middle or a thumb button, or turn or tilt the wheel). Escape leaves it as it is. A key that is already in use trades places. Spells, targeting, the pet, Reset, the pull timer, the review and zooming take a key, a key with Shift, Ctrl or Alt held, the middle mouse button, the thumb buttons (with or without those keys), and the wheel up, down, tilted left or right, plain or with a modifier. Walking and jumping take a plain key, the middle button or a thumb button.
Mouse: hold right to steer, hold left to look around, both buttons walk forward, the wheel zooms unless you bind it to something (Zoom in and Zoom out can have keys as well). Click a dummy to target it. The arrow keys always move you. "Edit bar" moves spells between slots. A few combinations belong to the browser and never reach the game (Ctrl+W, Ctrl+T, Ctrl+N, Ctrl+Tab, and Ctrl+1 to 9 in some browsers).
Controller: the left stick walks, the right stick turns and looks. A B X Y cast slots 1 to 4; with the left trigger held slots 5 to 8, with the right trigger 9 to 12, with both 13 to 15. LB jumps, RB takes the next dummy. D-pad: up pull timer, down stop casting, left pet follow, right pet attack. Start resets the fight, Back opens the review. While you use it the slots show its buttons. Menus still take the mouse.
The sim's priority list for this build: it casts the first line that applies, and taps when mana is too low for the next spell. From the Warlock SIM.
Fights with one thing to practise. Each is graded against what the sim reaches in the very same fight: S from 100%, A from 95%, B from 88%, C from 78%. Your own fight settings stay as they are; "End" at the top of the screen takes you back to them.
A new one every day, the same for everyone: the dice are fixed by the date (a day in UTC). Play it every day for a streak.
Scripted fights: things happen at set moments. The sim cannot follow a script, so it plays a fight of the same length with about as much moving and as many hits, spread evenly.
Earned with your grades in the drills and encounters above. Looks only.
Three minutes on one dummy with the dice fixed by a seed: everyone who types the same seed gets the same rolls, so results can be compared. The box starts with today's date. After the fight, "Copy the result" in the review gives you one line to pass on.
A short series for the build you play, made from its priority list in the Warlock SIM. Each lesson ends with a test: a short fight with a few things to reach. Pass it and the next lesson opens. Pick another build and its own lessons are here.
A real boss with its own mechanics in its own room. A ghost tank holds the boss and ghost off-tanks hold the adds; the boss loses health at an even pace, so the fight always lasts as long. More bosses will follow.
Earned by beating the sim in a boss fight. Looks only.
